01Match the ad.
If your ad promises a specific outcome, the page has to deliver the same message in the first second. When the ad and the page don’t match, the visitor clicks away before the first scroll.
02One call to action only.
Menus, social links, five sections, three buttons. Every option is a way to leave without buying. A landing page has one action. Everything else gets removed. One action, one outcome.
03Write for a stranger.
Cold traffic has zero context. Name the problem first, then the solution, then why you. Most founder copy assumes the reader already knows the brand. They don’t. That’s the whole reason they clicked.
04Sell the outcome, not the product.
Nobody buys tequila because of the ingredients. They buy it because of what it signals, what it tastes like, what it makes possible. Lead with that.
05Specific beats glowing.
“We sold out in three weeks” lands harder than ten five-star ratings. One named result from one real customer does more than any wall of generic testimonials.
06The destination is half the campaign.
You can have perfect targeting and strong creative. If the page doesn’t convert, the money is gone. Most brands optimize the ad and forget the page.
